After things quieted down Dona and I gave Ram and Dawn the present we had brought for them. It was a hand-made thing Dona specializes in.


What is it?	Helping Hands	What every married couple needs ... a Toaster Oven

The kids really really wanted to see it.

It was actually a marquetry box, with dividers on the inside for tea. The design is of booted racket-tail hummingbirds, one of Ram and Dawn's favorites, and something we saw together when we were down in Equador.

The card Dawn is holding in the photos below was made by a neighbor friend of ours, Angela Bennett, and is an image from a collection of paintings she has done called "Eyes of the Wild." This one was of an owl. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a website, but if you will run across her paintings in various places in the Ovando, Seeley Lake, and Missoula, Montana areas.
