Aidan and Riley came to visit; we sure were busy!
I took a week off from helping with the grandkids to float the North Fork of the Flathead River with my friends the Reeses from Colorado. It was a fun trip but way more crowded than we expected; the fishing was pretty mediocre as well. But the scenery was great.
Despite the fires and smoke, I got some climbing in with friends at Mulkey Gulch.
Dona and I got a chance to go to Indonesia and look for birds-of-paradise with her nephew Ram, a chance we couldn't pass up. We decided as long as we were going that far we should stay longer, so we spent two weeks in Southwest Australia as well. It was a good time to be away, as there were forest fires burning all over Montana and the air quality was horrible.
