The last two swans, #OV3 and #OV4, were released by community members who won a drawing for people donating to the swan reintroduction program. Deb Dilree and Heather Graham were the lucky winners.

The local kids got a real treat when they got to "pet" a swan. Swans sometimes adopt this pose, a faked death, in an attempt to get a predator to release its grip. When that happens, they beat the tar out of their captor in the process of flying away.
