Dona and I drove down the Larkspur to spend time with my mother over Thanksgiving. We got a few odd jobs done around the house, and took her to the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Denver Botanical Gardens. Featuring the work of Dale Chihuly, it was pretty cool. I suspect it was even prettier earlier in the year when everything was still green and blooming.
The sun was out and it was a nice day, but it was still pretty cold for mom sitting in a wheelchair. We enjoyed the view from sunny spots the most!
My sister Peg and her husband live near mom, and the mule deer seem to like their yard more than mom's.
Turkey dinner was at Peg and Bob's; Melissa and Eric were there too with their kids Jack and Sam.

Mel wanted me to take a family portrait. We were kind of in a hurry as people were leaving, and I didn't take the time I should have to position them in front of a good background and far enough away to fuzz it up. Hindsight is superb...

On the way home we stopped to see Trudy in Golden and Ian and Jenny in Boulder. We had a good visit but would have liked to spend more time with all of them.
